EXTENSION OF THE OFFER BY CCN HOLDINGS LIMITED TO ALL ITS SHAREHOLDERS, OTHER
THAN THE CONTROLLING SHAREHOLDERS;
SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF LISTING
1. INTRODUCTION
LPC Manhattan Sponsors (Pty) Limited is authorised to announce that the closing
date of the offer by CCN to all its shareholders, other than the controlling
shareholders, to acquire all of their shares in CCN at 115 cents per share, will
be extended indefinitely in terms of the provisions of Section 440K of the
Company`s Act.
An application has been made to the JSE to suspend the company`s listing at the
commencement of trade on Monday, 5 July 2004 and to terminate CCN`s listing with
effect from the commencement of trade on Tuesday, 13 July 2004. Shareholders of
CCN who have not accepted the offer by the record date will become shareholders
in an unlisted company.

Last date to trade on Friday, 2 July
Listing of CCN Shares suspended from the
commencement of business on Monday, 5 July
Offer extended indefinitely in terms of the
provisions of Section 440K
of the Companies Act Friday, 9 July
Record date on Friday, 9 July
Termination of CCN`s listing at the commencement of
trade on Tuesday, 13 July
Note:
1. Shareholders will be paid within five business days of receipt of acceptance
of the offer and dematerialised shareholders are advised to contact their CSDP
or stockbroker if they wish to accept the offer. If their shares are not
dematerialised and are held in certificated form, then such shareholders must
complete the form of acceptance and surrender in the circular to shareholders
dated 26 April 2004, if they wish to accept the offer.
