TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the preliminary results for the year ended 31
March 2004 are expected to be substantially lower than that of the previous
corresponding period. The word `substantially` is defined by the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa as meaning a difference
of equal to, or greater than 30%.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. Shareholders are therefore
advised to exercise caution in this regard when trading in the Company`s shares
until release of the preliminary results, which is expected to be on or about 8
July 2004.
