Changes to AVI Board of Directors
The board announces with regret that Mrs Hixonia Nyasulu has resigned from the
board as a result of a potential future conflict of interest arising from her
participation in a newly formed investment company.
The board extends its gratitude to Mrs Nyasulu for her contribution to the
board.
The board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Humphrey Buthelezi, Mrs
Nomhle Canca and Mr Kenny Fihla as non-executive directors of AVI Limited with
effect from 2 July 2004.
Mr Humphrey Buthelezi, CA (SA), a former audit partner at Ernst and Young is
chief executive of Wozani Holdings (Pty) Ltd, an investment company.
Mrs Nomhle Canca, BA (Political Science and Economics), is a non-executive
director at Primedia Limited and chief executive of Canca Inc.
Mr Kenny Fihla, MSc (Financial Mathematics), MBA, is the chief executive of
Business Against Crime.
The board looks forward to the contribution that the new directors will make.
