FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 31 May 2004
dealing with the exercise by AIM of its option to purchase Platinexco for R20
million. On 30 June 2004 the South African Reserve Bank (`SARB`) consented to
the release of the Platinexco (Pty) Ltd share certificate, duly endorsed `non-
resident`, to AIM Resources Ltd (`AIM`). SARB, however, has not consented to the
unconditional release of the disposal proceeds to Thabex and the Company is
continuing with its interaction with SARB in order to procure such release
unconditionally. As a result, shareholders are herewith advised that they should
continue to exercise caution when dealing in the Company`s securities until a
further announcement relating to this transaction is published.
