RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY AND TRADING STATEMENT
Based on the unaudited draft results for the five months ended May 2004 and the
projections for June, the board considers that the results for the half year to
June 2004 will be substantially lower than the corresponding reporting period
last year. The significant feature of the results has been the impact of the
strengthening Rand.
As the forecast financial information has not been reviewed or reported on by
the auditors shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
company`s shares until the release of the interim results which is expected to
be on or about 13 August 2004.
The board further advises that discussions regarding a possible change in
control in terms of the cautionary announcements dated 11 March, 23 April and 27
May 2004 are still ongoing and that developments will be reported in due course.
