THE PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF DIRECT BLACK OWNERSHIP INTO LIBERTY GROUP LIMITED
Shareholders of Liberty Holdings are referred to Liberty Group Limited`s
(`Liberty Life`) announcement that was released today, which sets out the
details of the proposed introduction of direct black ownership into Liberty
Life.
The shareholders of Liberty Holdings are advised that the board of directors of
Liberty Holdings (`the board`) has considered and intends to support the
proposal.
Should the Liberty Life proposal succeed, Liberty Holdings will, over time,
apply the proceeds received in terms of the black ownership initiative to
restore Liberty Holdings` shareholding in Liberty Life as close as possible to
its current level of 54%.
