Shareholders are advised that the discussions regarding a possible change in
control in terms of the Cautionary announcements dated 11 March, 23 April, 27
May and 7 July 2004 have been terminated.
However, in terms of the trading statement dated 7 July 2004, shareholders are
advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the company shares until
the release of the interim results which is expected to be on or about 13 August
2004.
