FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the cautionary announcements dated 3 May 2004 and 14 June 2004, SAIL
shareholders are advised that the Company is still involved in discussions
which, if successfully concluded may have a material impact on the price at
which SAIL shares trade on the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue exercising caution when dealing
in their SAIL shares until a further announcement is made.
