Investec Bank Limited is authorised to announce that at the general meeting of
Aspen shareholders held on Tuesday, 27 July 2004 the resolutions relating to the
proposed adoption of new articles of association and the specific share
repurchase of 21 300 000 Aspen shares from Peu Health (Proprietary) Limited were
passed by the requisite majority of Aspen shareholders.
The special resolutions will be lodged for registration with the Registrar of
Companies.
