Disposal of Jacaranda FM
NAIL shareholders are referred to the announcement published in the press on 6
March 2004 (`the announcement`), relating to the disposal by New Africa
Broadcasting (Proprietary) Limited (`NAB`) of its 42.5% interest in Jacaranda FM
(Proprietary) Limited (`Jacaranda`) (`the Jacaranda disposal`). NAIL has an
87.5% interest in NAB and therefore has an effective 37.2% interest in
Jacaranda.
NAIL shareholders are now advised that all the conditions precedent to the
Jacaranda disposal, including the approval of the Jacaranda disposal by the
Independent Communications Authority of South Africa and the Competition
Authorities, have now been fulfilled, and that the Jacaranda disposal is now
unconditional.
