RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING AND FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Notice is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of MGX was held on
Tuesday, 3 August 2004 for the purpose of considering the ordinary resolution
regarding the disposal by MGX Property (Proprietary) Limited of its Midrand
property to C-Max Investments 151 (Proprietary) Limited (`the Midrand property
disposal`). The ordinary resolution relating to the Midrand property disposal
was passed without modification by the requisite majority of MGX shareholders.
MGX shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement dated
22 June 2004 relating to the proposed delisting of MGX from the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa (`the delisting`) and are advised to continue exercising
caution when dealing in their MGX shares until such time as a further
announcement relating to the delisting is published.
