EXERCISE OF SHARE OPTIONS BY DIRECTOR
In compliance with 3.63 to 3.74 the relevant provision of the JSE Listings
Requirements, the following information is disclosed wherein an executive
director, Mr E Barnardo has exercised options on the following terms:
Strike price : R10.50
Vesting date : 02.02.1998
Exercise date : 06.08.2004
Number of shares : 5 000
Strike price : R12.50
Vesting date : 06.07.1998
Exercise date : 06.08.2004
Number of shares : 15 000
The shares will be sold in due course for appropriate alignment with his desired
investment portfolio.
In terms of Section 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements prior clearance to
deal in the above securities has been obtained from Mr TE Jones, Chairman of the
Board of Highveld.
