RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
At the general meeting held on Monday, 16 August 2004, convened in terms of a
circular dated 23 July 2004, the special resolution, pertaining to the renewal
of a general authority to repurchase shares, and the ordinary resolution,
pertaining to a capital distribution to shareholders by way of a reduction of
share premium of 1,6c per share (`the capital distribution`), proposed thereat,
were approved by the requisite majority of shareholders.
The salient dates pertaining to the capital distribution announced on the
Securities Exchange News Service on 23 July 2004 have not changed and still
apply.
The special resolution will be lodged for registration with the Registrar of
Companies today.
