REPLACEMENT OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
LPC Manhattan Sponsors (Pty) Ltd is authorised to announce that further to the
cautionary announcements published on 18 June 2004 and 1 July 2004, the
negotiations to which these announcements relate have been terminated. However,
preliminary negotiations have commenced for the acquisition of other assets
which negotiations, if successful, could have an effect on the price at which
the company`s shares trade. The company`s liquidity position remains under
intense pressure although the directors are currently pursuing various
mechanisms to alleviate this position. Shareholders are accordingly advised to
continue to exercise caution when dealing in shares in the company.
