FINALISATION OF CAPITAL DISTRIBUTION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published by the company on SENS
on 22 July 2004 wherein it was advised that the board of directors of Forim had
resolved to declare a capital distribution out of its share premium account of
34,0 cents (2003: 5,0 cents) per share to ordinary shareholders of the company
recorded in the register at close of business on Friday, 10 September 2004,
being the record date (`the capital distribution`).
At the annual general meeting of the company held today, all resolutions
including the ordinary resolution relating to the capital distribution were
approved by the requisite majority of shareholders. The following salient dates
remain applicable to the capital distribution:

Trading commences `ex` the capital Monday, 6 September
distribution
Record date Friday, 10 September
Date of payment Monday, 13 September
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 6
September 2004 and Friday, 10 September 2004, both dates inclusive.
