TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are hereby notified that Square One`s results for the 6 months
ended 30 June 2004 are expected to be substantially lower than the interim
results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2003 (`substantially` being an decrease
of 30% or more as defined by the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa). The results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2004 have
not been audited and reported on by the company`s auditors.
