In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
Lonmin Plc has received notification from Roger Phillimore, a Director of the
Company, that he was notified on 31 August 2004 that, pursuant to his
participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan of Lonmin Plc, on 13 August 2004
a cash dividend to which he was entitled was invested on his behalf in 270
Ordinary Shares of US$1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc, at a price of GBP10.58
per share.
