TRADING UPDATE
Shareholders are advised that EOH`s earnings per share and headline earnings per
share for the financial year ended 31 July 2004 are expected to be materially
higher than the earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the year
ended 31 July 2003. Materially, as defined in the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Securities Exchange South Africa, means an increase of between 10% and 30%.
The information contained herein has not been reviewed or reported on by EOH`s
auditors. The Company`s audited results are expected to be published on SENS on
or about Monday, 20 September 2004.
