CHANGES TO DIRECTORATE
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE,
Palabora hereby announces the following changes to its Board of Directors.
With effect from 1 September 2004, the resignation of Mr Oscar L Groeneveld as a
Non-Executive Director and his replacement by Mr Tom Albanese. Mr Albanese is a
Rio Tinto nominee and is the Chief Executive Copper and Exploration of Rio Tinto
plc.
