RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that at the general meeting held on Tuesday 7 September
2004 the ordinary resolution that the Company effect a special payment to its
ordinary shareholders of 32 cents per share in terms of Section 90 of the
Companies Act, 1973 (Act 61 of 1973), as amended, was passed by the requisite
majority of votes.
Shareholders are reminded of the following salient dates in respect of the
special payment:
Last day to trade cum distribution : Thursday, 23 September 2004
Trading commences ex distribution : Monday, 27 September 2004
Record date : Friday, 1 October 2004
Payment date : Monday, 4 October 2004
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday,
27 September 2004 and Friday, 1 October 2004, both days inclusive.
