Trading Statement
Stilfontein is expecting an increase in excess of 20% in earnings and headline
earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2004 compared to that of the last
comparative period. This is mainly as a result of the company making a first
time provision for environmental rehabilitation responsibilities in the previous
financial year.
The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on
by Stilfontein`s auditors. The release of the audited results is due to be
published on or about 30 September 2004.
