TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Astrapak is currently finalising its results for the half year ended 31 August
2004 and advises that its headline earnings per linked unit for the half year
ended 31 August 2004 is expected to increase by between 20% and 30% over that of
the previous corresponding period.
The results for the half year ended 31 August 2004 are expected to be released
on 13 October 2004.
The forecast information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed nor reported on by the Company`s auditors in accordance with the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements.
CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Linked unitholders are further advised that the Company is in discussions with
Black Economic Empowerment parties with a view to such parties in due course
taking up linked units in the company.
Linked unitholders are therefore advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company`s linked units until further notice.
