NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND NO CHANGE STATEMENT
Notice is hereby given that the sixtieth annual general meeting of AVI
shareholders will be held at 19 Impala Road, Chislehurston, Sandton on
Wednesday, 20 October 2004, at 11:30 to transact the business stated in the
notice of the annual general meeting that was issued together with the annual
report for the year ended 30 June 2004.
Shareholders are advised that the annual report containing the annual financial
statements of the Group for the year ended 30 June 2004 were posted to
shareholders today, being 28 September 2004, and contain no modifications to the
audited results that were published on Wednesday, 8 September 2004. KPMG Inc.
audited the annual financial statements of the Group and their report is
available for inspection at the registered office of AVI.
