UPDATE ON FIRM INTENTION TO MAKE AN OFFER (`proposed offer`)
Further to the various joint announcements released by BTG and CSH in relation
to the proposed offer, shareholders are updated as follows:
- BTG has extended the dates by which the conditions precedent to the
proposed offer (once made) are required to be fulfilled. These dates will
be fully detailed in the formal offer document referred to below;
- BTG and CSH are awaiting the outcome of the application to the competition
authorities for approval of the transaction; and
- the preparation of the formal offer document, as required in terms of the
Securities Regulation Code, is at an advanced stage and will be sent to CSH
shareholders shortly.
BTG and CSH shareholders will be advised of further developments as they occur.
