TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are hereby notified that Kairos is expecting to report a
substantial improvement in headline earnings per share for the six months ended
31 August 2004 compared to the headline loss per share reported for the six
months ended 31 August 2003 (`substantial` being an increase of 30% or more as
defined by the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa). The interim results for the six months ended 31 August 2004 have not
been reviewed and reported on by Kairos`s auditors. The interim results for the
six months ended 31 August 2004 are expected to be published on or about 18
October 2004.
