Announcement to Primedia Shareholders
Primedia shareholders are referred to the Primedia announcement published on
SENS on 23 April 2004 relating to the acquisition by Primedia Broadcasting
(Proprietary) Limited of 100% of the issued share capital of New Africa Media
Holdings (Proprietary) Limited (`NAMH`), including all claims which New Africa
Investments Limited (`NAIL`) may have against NAMH (`the NAMH acquisition`).
Primedia shareholders are advised that at a general meeting of NAIL shareholders
held on Tuesday, 5 October 2004, the ordinary resolutions relating to the NAMH
acquisition were unanimously approved by the NAIL shareholders present. The
implementation date of the NAMH acquisition is expected to be on Monday, 11
October 2004.
