RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING OF CEMENTATION PREFERENCE SHAREHOLDERS
At the general meeting of the Cementation preference shareholders held today,
Cementation preference shareholders approved the delisting of the Cementation
preference
shares from the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa (`the JSE`).
Cementation preference shareholders are reminded of the following salient dates
pertaining to the offer by Murray & Roberts Limited to Cementation preference
shareholders to acquire all or any of their Cementation preference shares (`the
offer`) and to the delisting of the Cementation preference shares:
2004
Last day to trade on the JSE to be eligible to
participate in the offer on (see note below) Friday, 8 October
Closing date of the offer at 12:00 on Friday, 15 October
Record date to participate in the offer on Friday, 15 October
Last day to trade in Cementation preference
shares prior to suspension on Friday, 15 October
Results of the offer released on SENS on Monday, 18 October
Payment of the offer consideration on Monday, 18 October
Cementation preference shares suspended on the
JSE from commencement of business on Monday, 18 October
Results of the offer published in the press on Tuesday, 19 October
Record date prior to the delisting of Cementation
preference shares on Friday, 22 October
Cementation preference shares delisted from the JSE
at the commencement of business on Monday, 25 October
Note:
No dematerialisation or rematerialisation of Cementation preference shares will
take place after Friday, 8 October 2004.
Cementation preference shareholders are reminded that failure to accept the
offer will result in them holding Cementation preference shares in an unlisted
entity.
