FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT AND REVISED DATE FOR RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements published in the press
on 27 July 2004 and 6 September 2004 and are advised that the discussions with
the black economic empowerment consortium are ongoing.
The Board of AFGRI would like to make the announcement of the Company`s
empowerment transaction at the same time as the announcement of its results for
the 6 months ended 31 August 2004, which was expected to be at the end of
October 2004. Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the company intends
releasing its results simultaneously with the full details of the black economic
empowerment transaction towards the end of November 2004.
Shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in AFGRI
shares until a full announcement is made.
