Trading Statement
In terms of the newly amended section 3.4 paragraph b of the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements, ADvTECH is now required to issue a
trading statement as soon as is satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that its financial results for the period to be reported on next will
differ by at least 20% from the financial results of the previously
corresponding period and this trading statement will not result in a closed
period for share trading purposes.
Accordingly shareholders are advised that headline earnings per share for the
year ending 31 December 2004 are expected to be between 20% and 40% higher than
headline earnings per share for the previous corresponding period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by ADvTECH`s auditors. The results for the year ended
31 December 2004 are expected to be published on or about 31 March 2005.
