CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa
Listings Requirements, shareholders are notified of the following changes to the
board of directors:
* Mr. Albert Bernardo (Executive Director) resigned from the board with effect
from 19 October 2004;
* Mr. Marius Lodewucus Heyns was appointed to the board as an Executive Director
with effect from 19 October 2004. Mr. Heyns will become Managing Director and
Chief Executive Officer of the Group;
* Mr. Charles Teresa (French) was appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive
Director with effect from 19 October 2004. Mr. Teresa will become Chairman of
the Group; and
* Mr. Pierre Boiraud (French) was appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive
Director with effect from 19 October 2004.
