REVISION OF THE SALIENT DATES AND TIMES RELATING TO THE OFFER BY BTG TO ACQUIRE
THE ENTIRE ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL OF CSH
Further to the offer announcement dated 8 October 2004, CSH shareholders are
advised that the offer document has been sent to CSH shareholders and that the
offer has opened for acceptances. The conditions precedent to the offer have not
yet been fulfilled. As the Securities Regulation Code requires that an offer,
once unconditional as to acceptances, must remain open for at least fourteen
days after the date on which it would otherwise have closed, it will be
necessary to extend the salient dates and times relating to the offer.
Accordingly, CSH shareholders are advised that the last date to trade, the
closing date and other salient dates and times relating to offer, as set out in
the offer document, are no longer operative.
On the basis that BTG has received undertakings to accept the offer in respect
of CSH shares exceeding 86% of the issued share capital of CSH, BTG and CSH
anticipate that they will be in a position to announce an appropriate acceptance
level of the offer during the course of next week. BTG and CSH will at that
stage provide detailed information relating to the updated closing date, last
date to trade and other salient dates and times relating to the offer.
