RESULT OF GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
At a general meeting held today in Paris, the requisite majority of shareholders
of ZCI approved:
* the resolutions relating to a transaction relating to the introduction of
Vedanta Resources plc as a strategic equity partner in its subsidiary
Konkola Copper Mines plc; and
* the appointment of Mr. T Kamwedo and Mr. J-P Rozan as directors of ZCI.
