TRADING UPDATE
Shareholders are advised that the Group`s earnings and headline earnings per
share for the six months ended 30 September 2004 will be substantially
(`substantially` equating to more than 30% as defined in the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa (`JSE`)) below the R736
000 earnings reported during the comparative period. It should be noted that
this trading update is not attributable to the operating performance of the
Group, but rather to the impact of AC133 and other non-recurring exceptional
items.
The Group`s earnings and headline earnings per share for the six months ended 30
September 2004 have not been reviewed and/or reported on by the Group`s auditors
and accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in
the company`s securities on the JSE until the interim results for the six months
ended 30 September 2004 are published on or about 15 November 2004.
