TRADING STATEMENT
Mr Price is currently finalising its results for the half-year ended 30
September 2004, which will be released on SENS on 17 November 2004 and in the
press on 18 November 2004. Shareholders are advised that headline earnings per
share for the period are likely to range between 25% and 35% higher than the
corresponding reporting period of the previous year.
The forecast financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed and reported on by the Company`s auditors in accordance with
the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements.
