TRADING STATEMENT
The directors of AME wish to advise shareholders that the positive trend
established in the first six months of the financial year ended on
31 October 2004 is expected to continue for the full year.
The group`s headline earnings for the year ended 31 October 2003 amounted to
10,3 cents per share; for the first six months of the current year they
amounted to 29,4 cents per share and, for the full year
to 31 October 2004, they are expected to be approximately 60 cents per share.
This financial information has not been reviewed by or reported on by the
auditors of the group.
