TRADING UPDATE
Shareholders are advised that the interim period ending 31 August 2004 has shown
a substantial improvement on the corresponding interim period ending 31 August
2003 and as a result IMR`s headline loss per share and loss per share are
expected to be substantially lower than those reported for the corresponding
period. Net asset value per share is expected to be substantially lower than
that reported as at 31 August 2003, primarily as a result of the increased
number of shares issued by way of the rights offer to IMR shareholders which
closed in October 2003. Substantially, as defined in the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa, means a decrease equal to or
greater than 30%. The information contained herein has not been reviewed or
reported on by IMR`s auditors.
