DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON EDGARS CONSOLIDATED STORES LIMITED ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - (`ECOIDA`)
With reference to the dividend announcement dated 10 November 2004, the
Directors of Edgars Consolidated Stores Limited have declared an interim
ordinary dividend of 494 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday 10 January
2005 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close
of business on Friday, 7 January 2005.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, ECOIDA,
will receive an Edgars Consolidated Stores Limited dividend of 494 cents per
security. The last day to trade (`cum` the dividend) in order to participate in
the dividend will be Friday, 31 December 2004.
ECOIDA Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading `ex` the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday 3 January 2005, and the record date will
be Friday 7 January 2005.
