CLOSURE OF THE ZIRCONIUM BASIC SULPHATE (`ZBS`) PLANT
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 31 August
2004 relating to the proposals received from interested parties on the ZBS
plant.
It is with great pleasure that the Board announces that after months of
negotiations, the ZBS plant has been sold to the black empowerment group, Maxima
Investment Consolidation (Pty) Limited.
The transaction is not a `category` transaction in terms of Section 9 of the
Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa.
