TRADING UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that Vesta`s annual results for the year ended 31
August 2004 will reflect a net loss for the year. Headline earnings will be
positive but will show a decrease of approximately 70% compared to the prior
year.
The annual results for the year ended 31 August 2004 have not yet been reported
on by Vesta`s auditors. Shareholders are accordingly advised to exercise caution
when dealing in the company`s securities on the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa until the annual results are announced, which is expected to be on or
about 30 November 2004
