LAPSING OF OPTION HELD BY CONAFEX HOLDINGS SOCIETE ANONYME (`CONAFEX`)
It was announced jointly on 4 November 2003 by Conafex and Intertrading that
Conafex and its associate had been granted a call option by Mr Bert de Kovel,
a director of Intertrading, to acquire 7 797 724 shares in Intertrading held by
Mr de Kovel, at a strike price of 60 cents per share exercisable at any time but
no later than the close of business on 30 November 2004, unless otherwise
agreed.
The directors of Intertrading announce that they have received notice from
Conafex that neither it nor its associate will be exercising the call option and
that accordingly the call option will lapse on 30 November 2004.
