ANNOUNCEMENT
The attention of shareholders is drawn to an announcement made today by BOC plc
(`BOC`), the majority shareholder of Afrox, that Mr John Walsh, chief executive
of BOC`s global Industrial and Special Products business, has resigned from BOC
to take up a position with an energy company in the United States, and will
leave the BOC Board in March 2005.
Mr J Walsh`s position as a director and chairman of the Board of Afrox remains
unchanged.
