DECLARATION OF INTEREST ON UNSECURED, COMPULSORILY CONVERTIBLE DEBENTURES
Notice is hereby given that debenture interest for the period 20 July 2004 to 19
January 2005 of 3.06567 cents per unsecured, compulsorily convertible debenture
(`the debentures`) will be paid to debenture holders recorded in the register of
Excellerate at the close of business on Friday, 14 January 2005 (`the record
date`). Payment will be made on Thursday, 20 January 2005 (`the pay date`). The
interest rate applicable is the six month JIBAR as quoted from time to time by
Nedbank Limited, plus 2.75 percentage points.
The last date to trade cum interest will be Friday, 7 January 2005 and trading
will commence ex interest on Monday, 10 January 2005. Debenture certificates may
not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 10 January 2005 and
Friday 14 January 2005, both days inclusive. In respect of dematerialised
debenture holders, interest will be transferred to the Central Securities
Depository Participant accounts/broker accounts on the pay date. Certificated
debenture holders` interest cheques will be posted on or about the pay date.
