RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETINGS
Shareholders of the companies are advised that the special and ordinary
resolutions proposed at the general meetings of the companies held today were in
all cases duly passed unanimously. The special resolutions will as soon as
possible be lodged with the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration
Office for registration.
Accordingly the minority shares in the companies will be redeemed at prices of
80 cents per Vaaltrucar share and 90 cents per Vaalauto share in accordance with
the timetable previously announced.
The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa has approved the delisting of the
companies with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 29 December
2004.
