TRADING UPDATE
Unitholders are advised that Spearhead`s basic and headline earnings per linked
unit for the 6 months ended 31 December 2004 are likely to be more than 20%
higher than those reported for the comparative six month period in the prior
year.
The increase in basic and headline earnings per linked unit arises from a
combination of general improvement in trading, profits generated on the disposal
of listed securities, lower finance costs and property development profits.
The basic and headline earnings per linked unit have not been reviewed or
reported on by the company`s auditors. Spearhead`s results for the 6 months
ended 31 December 2004 are expected to be released on or about 15 February 2005.
