CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders
are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of Marshalls:
Mr PN Lonsdale has resigned as an Executive Director and Company Secretary of
Marshalls with effect from 31 December 2004 and will assume the position of a
Non-Executive Director with effect from 31 December 2004.
Mr AM Ahmed has been appointed as Company Secretary of Marshalls and all of its
subsidiaries with effect from 31 December 2004.
