DEALING IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTORS AND THE COMPANY SECRETARY
The Remuneration, Human Resources and Nominations Sub-Committee of the Board of
Unitrans Limited (`the Remco`) has approved in principle the allocation, as a
regular allocation, in terms of the Unitrans Limited Share Scheme, of 620 000
options on ordinary shares in Unitrans Limited, representing 0,7% of the
Company`s issued share capital, to executive directors and senior executives of
the Company. The grant of these options will be based on the volume weighted
average price of the Company`s shares on 7 December 2004 i.e. at R31,0112
(thirty one Rand comma nought one one two cents) per share and will be subject
to the fulfilment, during January 2005, of certain conditions precedent set by
the Remco.
Shareholders will be advised in due course as to whether this proposed grant of
options has become unconditional and is to be implemented. Full details of the
options to be granted to directors will be given at that time.
