ACCEPTANCES RECEIVED FOR VUKILE`S OFFER TO
MICC UNITHOLDERS
The proposed offer by Vukile to acquire the entire issued capital of MICC
Property Income Fund Limited (`MICC`) (`the offer`) refers.
ApexHi Properties Limited (`ApexHi`) announced on 10 January 2005 the results of
its offer to MICC unitholders (`the ApexHi offer`), stating that it had received
acceptances for its offer from MICC unitholders holding 19% of MICC`s issued
capital.
Vukile has to date received acceptances for its offer to MICC unitholders (`the
Vukile offer`) from MICC unitholders holding 66% of MICC`s issued capital.
Following the conclusion of both the Vukile offer and the ApexHi offer, at least
85% of MICC`s issued capital will be held by Vukile and ApexHi. Therefore a
maximum of 15% of MICC`s issued capital will be held by the public, which will
result in significantly reduced tradability and liquidity in the MICC linked
unit.
The Vukile offer closes at 12:00 on Friday, 14 January 2005. MICC unitholders
who have not yet accepted the Vukile offer are urged to consider accepting the
Vukile offer before it closes.
