REVISED TIMETABLE RELATING TO THE UNBUNDLING OF JOHNNIC`S SHAREHOLDING IN
JOHNNIC COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED (`JOHNCOM`)
SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
Further to the detailed terms announcement published on the Securities Exchange
News Service (`SENS`) on 1 December 2004 relating to the unbundling of all of
Johnnic`s shareholding in Johncom to the shareholders of Johnnic (`unbundling
announcement`), Johnnic shareholders are advised that, due to certain
administrative issues, the timetable for the unbundling process has been revised
as indicated below. Accordingly, the dates indicated below replace those
published in the unbundling announcement.

Posting of circular to shareholders

Last day for lodging forms of proxy in
respect of the resolutions to be proposed
at the general meeting by no later than

The dates and times in this announcement are subject to amendments, which
amendments, if any, will be published on SENS and in the press. All times
referred to throughout this announcement are South African times. Share
certificates in Johnnic may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between
