PSCGG inquiry postponed as Porritt family calls in sick

The inquiry aimed at finding the missing millions invested in the PSC Guaranteed Growth (PSCGG) fund did not resume yesterday as planned as both witnesses were unwell.
The inquiry is focused on Gary Porritt, Tigon`s chief executive, who, allegedly, with his partner Jack Milne, conned many people to invest in the fund.
The liquidation is focused on two entities controlled by Porritt, EBN Trading and Awethu Trust, to which it is believed the money was siphoned.
Yesterday, both witnesses scheduled to testify were unable to do so due to ill health. Douglas Knight, Porritt`s father-in-law, had an upset stomach and Bernice Porritt, Porritt`s wife, is under psychiatric care.
They are important witnesses as they were both trustees for the many trusts Gary Porritt created. The Porritts are also trying to remove Alec Brooks, an attorney representing the liquidators, from the inquiry.
The inquiry has been postponed to March 2 and 3.
