NOTICE OF grant of options lodged with the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa
in terms of the revised listings requirements paragraph 3.63
1.
In terms of paragraph 3.63 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities
Exchange, notice is hereby given that the following directors/company
secretary/director of a major subsidiary were granted Tiger Brands share options
in terms of the provisions of the Tiger Brands (1985) Share Option Scheme on 25
January 2005 at a price of R 95.09 per ordinary share being the simple average
of the closing price of the Tiger Brands share on JSE Securities Exchange for
the 30 trading days prior to 25 January 2005:

In terms of the rules of the Tiger Brands (1985) Share Option Scheme:
one-third of the options vest after three years have elapsed from the date on
which the options were granted;
two- thirds of the options vest after four years have elapsed from the date on
which the options were granted; and
all options vest after five years have elapsed from the date on which the
options were granted.
The granting of the options was approved by the Company after recommendation of
the remuneration committee.
